I cannot tell you why I even started with this. It just went like all bad ideas go: Somehow it seemed like an interesting enough idea.

I think Dinah is on to something. Knitted endbands would be really great. Now I wish I knew how to knit.
How about crocheted cover’s edges? Maybe one could extend it over the signatures similar to Coptic headbands. Haha, a new idea for a future
project/craft fail/ experiment:-)
